Our Process
We pride ourselves on giving each client all of the information they need to make a good decision about their home and roofing project. We start by meeting you at your home to take a look at the roof, discuss what you are looking for and what options are available, and how we can help
maximize the enjoyment of your home. After collecting all of this information and getting to know each other, we provide clients with a detailed proposal of the work to be done and the time frame within which we will do it. We make the process stress-free and fun. Once we decide to work together we will schedule your project and our expert team will get going. Our roofing team has years of experience and their work is meticulous. They will treat your home with the respect and care it deserves and will leave your property in better condition than it was found. You have nothing to do but enjoy living under your new roof!
We proudly use the highest quality shingles and materials. Our shingles have a lifetime limited warranty and we have a 12 year workmanship warranty, so the process doesn’t end when your roof is complete. We want our clients to be completely satisfied and we will always be available to you when you need us.
Who We Are
Jaime Perri - The Roof Girl
Jaime is the majority owner of The Roof Girl LLC. She began her career as an attorney and practiced business and construction law. She went on to become a legal studies adjunct professor and the CEO of several nonprofit organizations. When she met her partner Dave, her passion for design and background in construction law, combined with his experience in the roofing and solar industry made starting a roofing and exterior design business a natural fit.
Jaime has 2 children - a 19 year old hockey playing son who is headed to college in the fall and a 14 year old daughter who is her bestie and is a freshman in high school.
Loves - watching her son play hockey, sushi lunch dates with her daughter and, watching Gilmore Girls.
Favorite places - Chicago (lived there for 8 years after college), New Haven (the best restaurants and pizza) and Turks & Caicos (favorite vacation destination).
Favorite shingle color - Owens Corning Williamsburg Gray (happens to be the color of the year this year; I love that it mixes black, shades of gray and touches of brown. It looks like a quilt on the roof and is stunning! I’m putting this on our house this year)
David Gaudio - The Roof Guy
Dave graduated from UCONN with a pharmacy degree and owned his own pharmacy for 23 years before changing careers. Dave is a minority owner of The Roof Girl LLC and calls himself “the talent” because he is out and about all day, driving all across the state, meeting with clients and doing estimates. He has heard every joke in the book, when he arrives at an estimate and is not a girl but doesn’t mind one bit. Dave has extensive sales experience and worked in the solar and roofing industries for years before starting The Roof Girl with Jaime.
Dave has 3 grown children- a 30 year old daughter who is getting married this year, and 2 sons 28 and 26 both who live nearby and come for dinner often.
Loves - golf, sci-fi movies, cooking, and Modern Apizza.
Favorite places - Boston (where his daughter lives), New Haven, and Turks & Caicos .
Favorite shingle color - Owens Corning Onyx Black - it’s a classic and goes well on any house
